Book

Broadcast News Writing and Stylebook, 5th edition.  Pearson, Boston, 2013. (sole author).  The first two editions of the book were published in 1986 and 1990.  Allyn and Bacon’s first edition was published in 1995; its second edition in 2002; the third edition in 2006; the fourth edition in 2010.  Pearson reports that this is the most widely-used book of its kind in the U.S.

Electronic News, the official publication of the Electronic News Division (EN) of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), Sage Publications, Thousand Oaks, CA.  Founder and co-editor with Anthony Moretti, Robert Morris University.  First published at Ball State University in 2001, Lawrence Erlbaum Associates took over publication in 2006 when it became the official journal for RTVJ.  Taylor & Francis bought Erlbaum.  Sage took over in 2010.
