Book

Broadcast News Writing and Stylebook, 6th edition.  Routledge, New York, 2017 (sole author).  The first two editions of the book were published in 1986 and 1990 thanks to the generosity of the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation.  The book was originally designed for young professionals and was distributed to TV and radio stations.  Allyn and Bacon’s first edition was published in 1995; its second edition in 2002; the third edition in 2006; the fourth edition in 2010.  Pearson, overlord of Allyn and Bacon, published the fifth edition in 2013.  I don’t know why the first two editions don’t count, but maybe it’s a testimony to the declining math skills in America.
